This was the first (and only) walking stick that I received from a colleague and the one that got me back into using walking sticks. In 2012 I had a job that required me to be outdoors and do a lot of walking so I started carrying around this stick which was given to me after I completed my training. At first it was plain (no decoration) but then I started doodling on it with some markers I had in my office. The designs don’t have any specific meaning and they’re just some random shapes. I don’t remember what kind of markers I used for the red and black but the yellowish-orange was a highlighter. I noticed the ink was normally a very bright orange on a piece of paper but when applied to wood the color dulled significantly.
The wood is pine and the branch was converted into a walking stick at a professional woodworking shop. My colleague provided the branches and the shop made them into the walking sticks.
