I’ve removed my crafting section for the foreseeable future. My original intent was to talk about the projects I made and share my work but weeks or months would pass between projects and I would eventually forget most of the details on how I made something. I only took pictures when I remembered to do so, usually after the project was finished and I had already started on something else. Most of my pages looked like long, rambling essays with few or no pictures at all which wasn’t very interesting. I might bring this section back someday but for now I’m going to focus on other parts of my website.

Once or twice a month I will upload new images of my art. I’m experimenting with different display styles on my pages so there may be some variation from time to time. Each month I will pick an art piece to highlight where I will go into detail about the composition, the inspiration(s) behind it, the techniques I used, and anything else I’d like to say about it. These highlights will be featured on a separate page.

I’m still working on fixing a few issues with my website. WordPress is very simple and easy to use for most applications but at times it is too simple. If there is a particular feature I want to modify, I’m finding out that I need to tinker with the HTML code because the default interface does not allow me to achieve what I want the standard way. I prefer to alter the code on my own because I don’t want to rely on third-party plugins to do the work for me.
One of the changes I made was removing the contact form from my Contact Me page. It was being spammed by bots which flooded my email account with junk.

I’m starting to add details for each of my projects. Most of the pictures will be included after I adjust my photography methods. I need to fix the lighting so everything doesn’t cast a big shadow (you may notice that in some of the pictures I have uploaded already).

I finished a few sections. I will be editing them over the next few weeks for consistency and grammatical accuracy and may change a few other things here or there.

The content is slowly being put together. I am still figuring out some of the editing especially tweaking a pre-made WordPress theme which does not want to cooperate.

This website is under construction. You may notice several changes to the layout and design over the next few weeks. I am in the process of adjusting WordPress to look less like a blog and more like an actual website.
